Sometimes, when you want something done, you’ve got to do it yourself. Once upon a time, Nolaskinsentials founder & CEO Jane Ormon was struggling with finding products that suited her melanin-rich skin. It became increasingly apparent that finding a skincare company that prioritized clean ingredients, inclusivity, and accessibility was virtually non-existent.

In 2017, Nolaskinsentials was founded–a brand on a mission to revolutionize skincare by offering handcrafted, vegan, and cruelty-free everyday skincare. We create our products for eco-conscious people looking for clean skincare made without harsh chemicals or bleaching agents.

We say hell no to mass manufacturing, unethical working practices, and a one-size-fits-all approach. 

We say yasss to real: real images, real skin goals, real ingredients, and plain old keepin’ it real. 

Two words: ingredient transparency. Each product is dreamed up by our founder, and made with so much love by our Nola family. All our products are formulated with responsibly sourced, plant-based goodies (so you’ll never find yourself googling sketchy ingredients). We’re inspired by botanicals, fruits, veggies, and herbal derivatives to craft formulas in small batches that’ll work with your skin, not against it. Plus, our skinsentials are made by humans for humans—and we love our fluffy friends—so we never test on animals. Ever.
