I have very oily skin. Middle of the day, I look in the bathroom and my forehead is reflective. I tried the mattifying mist, and no, it is not the answer to my shiny skin. Using it as directed did not make my skin less oily, and I think my particular skin would actually benefit from using an actual toner rather than just this product after cleaning. Which, if it I wasn't supposed to be using this as a toner, then that's on me. But! I did notice that if I sprayed this later in the day, as some other reviewers recommended, I got some nice results for making my skin feel both refreshed and a little more dewy as opposed to oily. I still recommend this product and will buy another try me size in the future to experiment with this spray a bit more. So far, been nothing but pleased with all my Nola products!

This mattifying mist doesn’t hold me for the full day. You would have to reapply. But it did cut down on the shine my face gives off in 90 degree weather, leaving my face face a fresh look.

I think my skin is just too sensitive because it caused breakouts (I get really bad cystic acne). It also smells really odd, I’m all for natural ingredients, but there was something really weird about this one. This mist just isn’t for me, though I loooove the other products I bought.

I really love this. product. I live in a super hot, dry area so my skin in the summer time is a mess. Somehow both too oily and too dry! I was skeptical to try anything "mattifying" incase it dried out my skin even more, but this product doesn't dry out my skin at all. Very few products can stand up to the 100+ degree heat where I live but this one does! It doesn't stop me from sweating entirely (which is a good thing!) so I do have to reapply throughout the day, but I don't mind at all. It's so refreshing and cooling and my face looks way less oily throughout the day! I haven’t been wearing makeup lately so this is just from my experience on my bare skin, but I have no doubt that it would make an excellent base for makeup products in the future as well. Highly recommend this product!

I'm loving this mist for the summer! Even though I'm spending most of my time at home right now, I still get a little oily as the day wears on. A quick spritz of this and my skin is refreshed and the shine is gone. The smell is lovely, too!
