I received a try-me size of this with another product and took the leap and got a full size once it ran out. Packaging-wise, the container size is really good and you can probably get through at least 6 months of use on one jar.
Normally acid exfoliants either dry me out or break me out, but this is the only acid exfoliant product I've used that does neither. I have normal, sensitive, acne-prone skin with easily clogged and large pores. I use it 3x/week (up from 2) and leave it on for roughly four minutes after I finish applying. It smells really good (pumpkin pie filling). It does sting quite a bit while you let it work but it doesn't outright burn. It softens my face really well. My sebaceous filaments are less prominent when I use this regularly.
I have been using this mask for roughly 2 months and have noticed a moderate improvement in my PIH (less so in my PIE but that is notoriously harder to treat). I'd estimate that my PIH is maybe 60%-70% gone? It'd be a very good maintenance treatment for people who get chemical peels. I have also noticed that if I am about to develop a whitehead, it either brings it to the surface overnight (so I can get rid of it a lot quicker) OR it goes away before coming to a head entirely. Any inflammation that develops around my acne is also reduced a lot. For acne specifically, I'd say it has helped a moderate amount in reducing the development and prominence of my acne (which is primarily hormonal, so topical treatments can only do so much).
The only two things to note IMO are that it's kind of hard to wash off (very slimy, so I kind of squeegee it off my face with my fingers while I'm rinsing, then massage the residue off) and also if you have light/pale skin, the carotenoids from the pumpkin puree WILL mildly stain you orange, so I wouldn't use this right before going out unless you also use base makeup. That said, the orangeness is very mild, it kind of just looks like your normal skin tone with a much warmer undertone. It also goes away entirely overnight, so you can use it the day before any outing without a problem.
I do wish the container was refillable in some way just for environmental considerations.
