Scrub It Away, the Organic Way.

Dieting can be hard, but here’s a few reasons you won’t have to give up sugar, entirely.

If you haven’t noticed — here at Nolaskinsentials, we offer quite a bit of scrubs. Ranging from lip and face exfoliants, body scrubs, even down to body polishes. The best part? We specially handcraft these items with pure, organic sugar. Because really, is there any better way?

There’s nothing that excites us more than opening a fresh jar of our favorite scrubs. Exfoliating speeds up your skin cells turnover rate, helping to remove dead skin and unclogging pores. Unfortunately, there are quite a few exfoliants out there that contain harsh chemicals that can essentially do more harm than good.

Thankfully, all our scrubs and polishes are made with organic sugar. It makes for one of the best ingredients and here’s a few reasons why:

  • Its natural, chemical-free and retains moisture that the skin needs to stay hydrated.
  • Great for those with sensitive skin.
  • Combined with nourishing ingredients, it helps the skin to stay silky smooth and supple.
  • Compared to salt scrubs, sugar grains are much smaller, hydrating and gentle.

So, what’s the difference between exfoliants and polishes?

Scrubs/exfoliants are used to remove dead skin cells and clean, together. Whereas polishes, although having the same sloughing properties however, do not clean. When using a face or body polish, make certain that the skin is has been thoroughly cleansed prior to using the polish.

Lastly, you want your skin to remain soft and hydrated. After using your polish or scrub, be sure to follow up with body lotion, or a lightweight moisturizer for the face. And if you’ve used a lip scrub — pucker up with an ultra-gloss for the ultimate, kissable pout!
